Ralph commenced Ellerfield in 1990 in Buderim, Qld – on the Sunshine Coast where he also resides with his family.
“The company started with no clients originally” says Ralph. Ellerfield continues to experience strong growth by providing quality and consistent advice.
“Our vision at Ellerfield is to provide our clients with a caring and goal focused service which is very unique. It is important that our clients achieve structured, clear and certain future planning for their goals and objectives.”
Outside of work Ralph has a strong love of music and plays the saxophone.
“Keeping fit and healthy is very important to me also and I enjoy working out at the gym and walking” says Ralph.
Ralph has an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) and the Association of Financial Adviser.
Head of Strategic Advice & Financial Adviser
David has over 35 years experience in the financial services industry. He joined the Commonwealth Bank of Australia in 1980 and progressed through to various management roles within the organisation. David was excited to bring that experience to Ellerfield Financial Planning when he joined the company in 2007.
He currently holds the position of Head of Strategic Advice and is also the Group General Manager for Ellerfield.

David is currently a Senior Fellow with the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and enjoys studying the financial markets especially in the areas of the share market and property investments.
David enjoys travelling and Motorsport. He has an active role within Speedway Sedans Australia. David also has involvement in fundraising projects for people diagnosed with late stage AIDS in the Northern Region of Thailand.
David currently holds a Diploma of Finance, an Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and is currently a Senior Fellow with the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He is also a member of the AFA.
